Double flop poker: would you play it?

So I came across this poker variant recently and honestly I can't get it out of my head. It plays just like NL or PLO but with a twist: if the hand doesn't go to showdown, the betting resets preflop, everybody keeps their same hole cards, and a second flop gets dealt.

Oh and here's the part that really got me, players who already folded get a second chance to play the hand. So that fold you made preflop might not be the end of your night after all.

Thought it was novelty at first but the more I think about it the more I love it. Curious if anyone else has come across this or if you'd actually sit down and give it a shot?

Never heard of this variant before but honestly it sounds like a blast. The idea of folded players getting back in for the second hand is wild. Would definitely change how you think about early folds.

I'd try it for sure. Feels like it rewards patience. If you fold preflop and the second board hits your hand perfectly, that's a sick feeling. Could get messy with pot management though.

Played something similar at a home game once. People were confused at first but by the end of the night nobody wanted to go back to regular NL lol. The second flop changes everything.

I like the concept but wouldn't the second hand become kind of a free roll for the folded players? Like what's the incentive to stay in the first hand if you can just fold and wait for another shot?

This needs proper structure around the second hand betting, side pot? new pot? But the core idea is genuinely interesting. More action more decisions. I'm in.
