Be honest. Is it an actual number you set before you open the site, or is it more of a feeling you have that gets revised a few times during the session. Because I have a budget in the same way I have a bedtime.

I use the deposit limit feature on the site itself because I know I cannot be trusted to enforce my own rules, removing the decision from myself entirely was genuinely the most useful thing I've ever done as a player.

@JamesSlots same, the built in tools are underrated, most players don't touch them but setting a weekly deposit limit takes two minutes and it's the only budget that actually sticks because you physically cannot override it mid session.

unpopular opinion but I think budgets work better when you decide on them a day before rather than right before you open the site, when you're already in the mood to play the number always ends up higher than it should be

@LeoSlots that's actually a really good point, the mindset you're in when you set the limit matters as much as the limit itself, pre-session you are not a neutral party.
