Doesn't the weekend session hit different?

I play during the week but it never feels the same as the weekend, there's always something else I should be doing, always a reason to stop earlier than I want to, the session feels borrowed. Friday night though, that's mine.

Weekday sessions I'm always half thinking about something else, work, errands, whatever. The weekend is the only time I actually play with my full attention.

so true, weekday me sets a strict limit and sticks to it because I have to be somewhere in the morning.

weekends are when I try new slots I've had bookmarked all week, no point starting something new on a Tuesday when you've got an hour at most, Saturday morning with a coffee is a different thing entirely

I actually play less on weekends because there's more going on socially but when I do sit down for a session it feels more enjoyable, less like a habit and more like a choice.

Friday night is basically the only time I don't feel slightly guilty about playing, which probably says something about how I think about it during the week=))
