Is it possible to actually get to know a slot

Do you ever play the same slot for so long in one session that you start to feel like you actually know it

yes and no, you learn the rhythm of a slot after a while, when it tends to go cold, how long the dry spells usually run, but then it does something completely unexpected and you remember it's just an RNG and none of that was real

Not really, even my fav slots(ie wild swarm 2) can be punishing sometimes and lose 1-2000x before triggering the swarm bonus etc.

Genuinely think you can get a feel for the volatility pattern after enough sessions on the same game. Not predict it but recognise it. Book of Dead feels different to play now than it did two years ago and I don't think the game changed.

i've played the same three slots for about two years and i still have no idea what they're going to do next, familiarity and understanding are completely different things

There's a slot I've played so many times I notice immediately when something feels off about a session, can't explain it logically but the feel is different, whether that means anything is another question entirely.
