The fact that every single person in this thread has a slightly different relationship with their own budget tells you everything about why responsible gambling tools need to be flexible rather than one size fits all, a hard deposit cap works for some people and does nothing for others and the industry mostly pretends that distinction doesn't exist.
 
@teckiwi the locking up part is what most people skip. I move one week's chunk into the account and leave the rest somewhere else, so there's no decision to make at 11pm.
 
why is this thread so personal. i just keep like 20 in there and nothing linked, not discipline more like hiding the snacks from myself
 
A number in money is easy to argue with mid session, a number in bet size is not. Divide your session bankroll by 200 and if that stake looks embarrassingly small, the bankroll is too thin for the game rather than the stake being wrong.
