What’s the most popular game from 2022?
The most popular game that we released last year has proven to be Spirit Hunters.
And what do you think will be the most popular in 2023?
I don’t want to speak for the road map ahead, but for now, we believe the latest release, Elysium VIP, is growing a lot and is gaining momentum, so this is the one that we are about to see grow a lot. It’s targeting VIP players, so that’s a good target for a game, and I think it’s working well. It has a completely new game mechanic that the industry hasn’t seen before, so it’s a really interesting game to check out.
What is the most played slot in history from you guys?
I will say Spirit Hunters. We are a new studio, so we only started to release in 2021, so we released only one or two titles until now. Yeah, basically, 2022 Spirit Hunters, that’s the winning game, among others, of course, like Clash of Heroes, Sword King, which are also doing really well.
Which one is the first one you created as a studio?
The first one is called Super Crew. It’s the game that pays from all sides and from the middle and it’s a very peculiar game that intends to inspire, for the real fans of Nintendo.
Can people cheat on slots?
Yes, they can, if they use the right amount of stake and play until they win big and they can cash out.
Live games or slots?
Personally, I prefer slots. In live games, there is some skill involved, and I think that’s taking away from the risk in a way.
You are targeting a specific public, right? What’s the type of customer you are looking for?
We are actually targeting all types of players, from casual to hardcore gamers. We have low volatility, medium volatility, and high volatility, and next year we are going to release more high volatility targeting VIP players, the way we did with Elysium VIP.
How do you come up with new ideas? I guess you have a lot of slots and always need to reinvent them.
Yes, this is a very good question because our company is one of many providers, and so we strive to deliver completely unique games, which means that we will never copy a title that someone else has released. And everyone knows that this is really common in the industry. But our team is doing a lot of research, so we are fully aware of what’s being released, and once we have liked something, we develop on that to make it unique and to make it our own.
How do you know a slot will attract a lot of customers?
We do a lot of research, and when we make a game that is targeting a specific market, we are very well aware of what’s best for that market.
Did the recession affect the industry?
Recession is happening in cycles, so no, I don’t think anybody has been surprised by the recession. In a way, it is hitting the industry, but I wouldn’t say that in a bad way, because the industry has shown to be very resistant to events that are happening in the world, because when it’s online, it will happen during Covid. Instead of, when betting shops closed, actually the casinos multiplied their revenue because people were playing from home. So in this way I would say the industry is antifragile, so it wouldn’t be moved by a recession or any black swan event.
What’s your personal favourite slot?
My personal favourite slot is our next slot, it’s called Lord of Gilgamesh. It’s a classic game mechanic and it has modifiers and I’m very excited for the release happening this month.
