Could you start by introducing yourself, detailing your role at ZeusPlay, and sharing how your journey in the iGaming industry began?
I am Antonis Zlatanos, and in 2012, I founded ZeusPlay, the brand under which my company, Elicon, develops and distributes gamebling games. With nearly 100 game titles using older thechnology and 70 slot game titles utilizing our new technology, we offer a wide range of games that satisfy even the most demanding players. In addition to slots, we also have 4 lottery games with continues draws, available in betting shops in retail markets.
Since then and up to today, I have held the position of CEO of the company, also owning the majority shareholding.

I‘m proud to share that at ZeusPlay, we have a team that has been working together for many years. Each member’s expertise in their respective field has led to the creation of modern slots, where creativity and mathematics blends seamlessly. How do you balance traditional slot elements with innovative features to appeal to both new and seasoned slot players?
We aim to blend traditional graphics, such as fruits and diamonds, with innovative gameplay mechanics and features like HOLD & WIN or AVALANCE. This approach allows us to provide new experiences for veteran players while also attracting a new audience of younger players to established, timeless games with classic graphics. What sets us apart as company is our ability to create games that appeal equally to both new and experienced players, achieving significant success with both audiences.
We’re seeing trends like blockchain integration and artificial intelligence in gaming. How does Zeusplay incorporate new technologies, and what benefits do they bring to players?
As a company, we embrace modernity and adapt to the evolving demands of our era. Our focus included leveraging blockchain technology to strengthen data security and facilitate cryptocurrency usage, as well as AI technology, which is set to transform both graphic design and user experiences in the near future.
What are some emerging trends in slot design that Zeusplay is exploring, and why do you think they will resonate with players?
Research never stops when it comes to innovation, whether in mathematics or graphic design. We have already shifted our focus to new game models, which we are developing rapidly. You will see them soon after the end of the first quarter of the new year. We are confident they will resonate with players, as we base our efforts on global statistical data and research.
Can you walk us through Zeusplay’s game creation process? From idea to launch, what are the steps you take to ensure quality and creativity?
From the conception of an idea to its presentation to the design team, the foundation of the game’s scenario is developed. This includes details such as the number of reels, for example the reels will be 5, the bonuses it will feature, its graphic style, its name, and other general information about the game. Following this, the game undergoes a detailed analysis: the creative team determines the techniques to be applied, while the development team evaluates whether any new mechanisms or features are required. Once all these are finalized, the estimated production time is calculated. The process then transitions to the development phase, and the game undergoes testing and quality assurance before its completion, making it available to our partners and through them, to the players.
How much input do players have in shaping future games? Do you gather player feedback on existing games to refine or inspire new titles?
Since 1995, when I first entered the world of gaming, I have always taken player feedback into account. This helped us improve, gain the user experience, and reflect it in the final product.
With online gaming, however, our interaction is primarily with our partners. Players belong to our clients’ databases, not ours. That said, we rely on analysing the data from our games, collecting insights from media partners who play and review them, and considering feedback from partners with whom we share strong relationships. By combining all the information, we gain a clear understanding of player preferences and needs. This process is a crucial part of the research we conduct before designing a new game.
How does Zeusplay ensure fair play and responsible gaming in its slot titles? Are there specific measures or features you’ve implemented?
All our games rely on RNG randomness. We have obtained RNG certifications from leading certification laboratories for jurisdictions like Malta and Isle of Man, and in the near future, we will obtain certifications for Greece and other countries. Furthermore, we ensure that our games are fully certified to comply with local regulatory requirements. To enhance game safety, we have also introduced features such as bet limit settings and other protective measures.
What’s your perspective on the role of social responsibility in the gambling industry, and how does Zeusplay contribute to it?
We believe the gambling industry holds a significant influence on local societies. As such, it is essential to approach this matter from the perspective of social responsibility, with each party acknowledging their respective obligations. Games must respect the broader social community, ensuring that both their content, visuals and messages align with the explicit and implicit laws of an organized society.

We focus on understanding what appeals to our players, combined with the experience and creativity of ZeusPlay team, we draw inspiration from diverse worlds. Our collection includes games inspired by fantasy, Greek mythology, animals, jewels, fruits and much more. Looking ahead, what exciting new developments or major releases can players anticipate from ZeusPlay?
