By "numbers" I mean the actual value of the points. At casual level, a few reward points here and there feel exactly like supermarket loyalty points cause nobody's filing taxes over a free spin. But once you're at high roller level and those points convert into hundreds or thousands in real cash or betting credit, the amounts get big enough that a tax authority might start seeing them as income rather than a perk.
