Genuinely curious how many people sit and read through the paytable and rules before spinning. I never used to bother but got caught out on a slot where I didn't realise the bonus had a specific mechanic I completely missed. Now I at least skim it.
I always at least check the bonus mechanic before buying or playing long. Had a slot once where I didn't realise wilds didn't pay in the base game and wasted a whole session misreading hits.
This is why I watch a short video on a slot before playing it for real money. More useful than a paytable that buries the key mechanics in three paragraphs of small print.
