Provider loyalty or just going with whatever

Do you actually follow specific slot providers or just play whatever catches your eye in the lobby? Because I've noticed I keep ending up on the same few providers without really thinking about it

Pragmatic Play without really choosing it, just kept ending up there, Big Bass series, Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, they release constantly and the stuff sticks

Nolimit City for me, the mechanics are just more interesting than anything else on the market right now, San Quentin, Tombstone, Mental, they take risks other providers don't and it shows in how the games actually play.

I used to say I didn't have a preference and then I counted and something like 70 percent of my recent sessions were on Pragmatic Play slots, so apparently I do have a preference and I just hadn't admitted it to myself.

Play'n GO is underrated as a provider, the back catalogue is enormous and the RTP on a lot of their older titles is more transparent than what Pragmatic publishes, people focus on the new releases and miss some genuinely good games from 2018 and 2019.

@TheodoreSlots Pragmatic's RTP transparency has definitely gotten worse, a lot of their newer titles have variable RTP depending on the casino which makes comparison basically impossible.

unpopular but I think Pragmatic releases too much, half of it is just reskinned mechanics with a new theme, Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza are essentially the same game dressed differently and nobody talks about it.

@LeoSlots not wrong but the reskins work, the tumble mechanic with multipliers is just a good formula and I don't mind them using it repeatedly if the games are fun to play

Relax Gaming for me, the catalogue is smaller but the quality is more consistent, they publish certified RTP on everything and I appreciate not having to guess.

Big Time Gaming invented the Megaways mechanic and somehow ended up less relevant than the providers who just licensed it from them, Blueprint and Pragmatic made more money from Megaways than BTG ever did, strange situation

@MasonSlots the BTG situation is genuinely one of the more interesting stories in the slot industry, created the mechanic that defined a whole era of slots and then watched everyone else run with it, the licensing model paid out but they lost the cultural relevance entirely.

Hacksaw Gaming recently, the buy bonus mechanics are clean and the volatility profiles are more interesting than most of what Pragmatic is putting out right now.

ELK Studios doesn't get enough credit, the betting strategies built into their games are a genuinely useful feature that most providers haven't bothered to copy, Toro, Wild Toro, Sam on the Beach all hold up really well.
