Some slots need a second chance

Is there a slot you played once, hated, came back to months later and completely changed your mind about? For me it was Book of Dead, first few sessions were awful and I genuinely didn't get the appeal, then I came back to it almost a year later and something just clicked. Maybe the game didn't change at all and I just did or my gambling style.

starburst was love at first sight and still is, I know people say it's boring and the wins are tiny but I find it genuinely relaxing and sometimes that's exactly what I want from a session

I hated Book of Dead as well. The bonus triggered maybe three times in two full sessions and every single one paid basically nothing. Wrote it off completely. Then about eight months later I gave it one more go on a whim and hit the expanding Qs in free spins for more than I'd lost across both previous sessions. Still playing it now.

Gonzo's Quest took me a while, the avalanche mechanic felt unfamiliar and I kept losing without really understanding why, once I actually read how the multipliers built up during a streak it changed how I approached it and suddenly the whole game made more sense to me.

Dead or Alive 2 for me, first time I played it I couldn't understand why everyone was obsessed, the base game is painfully slow and I kept running out of patience waiting for the bonus, came back six months later with a bigger bankroll and more tolerance for variance and it completely delivered, one session in Train mode and I finally got it.

Book of Dead here too, first impression was just a high variance game that takes your money and gives nothing back, the dry spells between bonuses are genuinely brutal, but when it hits properly it hits in a way that most slots just don't and that's why people keep going back to it
