Switching games mid-session

Do you ever switch games mid session just because the vibe is off, not because you're losing, just something feels wrong about it?

all the time, something just feels off and I can't explain it so I move on, doesn't even have to be a losing session, sometimes a game just isn't for that day

Never. I pick a game and I commit to it. Switching mid session because of a feeling is just chasing and I don't do that.

yes constantly, I have zero loyalty to a slot that's giving me a bad feeling even if the numbers say nothing is wrong, the vibe is a real thing whether people want to admit it or not

I switch games but I try to be honest with myself about why, if it's because I'm down and hoping a new game fixes it that's chasing, if it's genuinely just that the session doesn't feel right then fine, the distinction matters even if it's hard to make in the moment.

Switched from a slot I love last week just because it felt wrong, went to something completely different, had a decent session, went back to the original the next day and it felt fine again, no idea what that means but it felt like the right call at the time.
