Which Crypto Bonus Type Suits You
The crypto casino bonus type that suits you best depends on whether you’re willing to make a deposit to land a certain offer. What also matters is whether you are a new or existing player, since each category has its specific types of deals that are available to you.
My name is Andrei Vlaicu, senior content writer for SlotsCalendar, and I will walk you through these bonus categories that you can find attached to cryptocurrency usage with both deposits and withdrawals.
An Introduction to Each Type
Freebies
No deposit bonuses provide you with bonus funds at registration, which can be offered in a cryptocurrency, perhaps a stablecoin (pegged to a fiat currency, like USDT), without asking for a payment. They can help test the casino’s features and operational quality, even if the gaming itself may be limited to assigned games. Wagering determines whether you can turn that sum into real cash up to a payout cap, but some brands, like Captain Jack in the table below, can ask for a small deposit before you can withdraw.
Free spins with no deposit are the other freebie for new users. They are more restrictive because they require you to play with a set bet (spin value) and on a slot chosen by the casino. Wagering requirements may be higher and the cashout cap lower to offset the fact that it’s a no cost promotion. They’re a suitable choice if you mainly play slots. Casinos may require a verification deposit for these as well.
They Require Deposits to Claim
Welcome bonuses are packages for new players as well, but they require you to make a deposit to qualify. Your payment must pass a minimum threshold. This bonus is a deposit match in the sense that what you fund your balance with is how the casino calculates how much it gives you in bonus funds. You can use it once per account, and it helps you build a boosted bankroll from the jump.
Reload offers are also promotions based on a required deposit. Reload matches tend to be smaller than welcome matches at the same casino, such as the CasinoMax reload in the table below at 75%. You’ll be able to use it multiple times, and it helps you have additional funds in your gaming balance as a regular user.
Cashback deals return a part of what you lost, but they do not protect you from losses. They apply to your weekly losses, for example, giving you a percentage of what you lost during that set period of time. They essentially return some of the house take kept by the casino due to its house edge (what the casino retains over the long run). They may or may not require at least a 1x rollover.
Crypto Bonuses Compared to Regular Casino Bonuses
Crypto casino bonuses differ from the regular ones, offered in fiat-only, when it comes to value, wagering, speed, and KYC (Know Your Customer, which are identity and age checks) requirements. However, they are structurally similar, since the casinos offering these bonuses are brands that have simply adapted traditional platforms for crypto transactions.
The list below shows where they differ, which ultimately makes these crypto bonuses distinct.
Wagering requirements across jurisdictions may be subject to a certain threshold under legislation. The main example is the 10x cap on offers in the UK, introduced under the UKGC’s safety-driven simplification of bonuses, effective 19 January 2026. The promos in the table below are from offshore crypto casinos, and they carry rollovers between 3x and 40x.
Value differs because of the way cryptocurrency valuations move. Whenever you claim a bonus in a certain cryptocurrency, its value may be different by the time you finish wagering it. This can essentially make your payout more or less valuable than the bonus that you claimed. The difference is that stablecoins like USDT track the value of a fiat currency.
Speed refers to the quickness of the transactions that are involved in bonus usage, especially when it comes to the payout that you receive after completing the wagering. Theoretically, crypto bonuses have the edge, since networks move funds much faster than fiat payment rails allow. However, you still need the casino’s approval for your withdrawal request, and that process can take a while, depending on the brand.
KYC is required for users to play with real money in regulated markets that place a strong emphasis on age and identity verification. Again, the UK is the prime example, per the UKGC’s age and verification guide. Crypto casino brands with no license have no such demands placed on them. However, they will likely require you to complete KYC once you request a payout.
Crypto Bonus Offers
The following table has deals from SlotsCalendar’s collection that I sourced on 15 October 2026.
| Brand | Bonus Type | Amount | Minimum Deposit | Code | Coins | Wagering | Casino License | Offer Ends |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bets.io | Cashback | 10% Up to 1,000 MNT | 20 MNT | No Code Needed | MNT | 3x | Unlicensed | 6 December 2026 |
| SpinGreen Casino | Free Spins | $10 (50 Spins, $0.2 per Round) | None to Claim, $10 to Withdraw | SECRO50 | BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, USDT, SOL | 25x | Anjouan Gaming (Valid) | 15 November 2026 |
| CasinoMax | Reload Bonus | 75% (no cap) | $10 in Crypto | No Code Needed | BTC, LTC, USDT, BCH, ETH | 40x | Anjouan Gaming (Valid) | Doesn’t Expire |
| Captain Jack Casino | No Deposit Bonus | $15 | None to Claim, $11 LTC to Withdraw | TQKFMW | BTC, BCH, BNB, ADA, DOGE, ETH, LTC, SOL, TRX, USDC, USDT, XRP | 10x | Unlicensed | 23 February 2027 |
| Vave Casino | Welcome Bonus | 100% Up to 1.5 BTC | 0.000013 BTC | SPORT15 | BTC | 40x | Anjouan Gaming (Valid) | Doesn’t Expire |
Before I get into a bit of analysis on each offer, I’d like to clarify that the table above is not a ranking. Instead, it’s a diverse representation of offers across the major types.
All these brands accept crypto payments, may or may not have an active license, may or may not have a bonus code, and they may or may not be value-friendly, as I’ll showcase in the sections where I discuss what the wagering requirements truly mean.
When the currency section only lists a coin, that’s because the offer is specifically attached to that cryptocurrency. If not, I provided the full list available at that casino since the promo is shown only in its fiat form.
Things To Consider For Each Promo
Here are some core traits to consider for each deal:
Bets.io’s cashback deal allows you to receive 10% of your previous day’s payments of at least 20 MNT. However, you only have 7 days to wager the 3x requirements, as the bonus expires afterward.
SpinGreen’s set of free spins on Ouija Secrets by Mascot Gaming comes with a $50 max cashout cap. The casino sets no time limit for wagering winnings. You also need to deposit and wager $10 to be able to withdraw winnings.
The CasinoMax reload offer is for slot usage only, and you can get it daily. The $10 minimum deposit applies to crypto-only, as the minimum fiat deposit to qualify is $35. The maximum allowed bet is $10, and the wagering applies to deposit + bonus, and there is no stated wagering window for such a deposit offer.
Captain Jack’s no deposit deal currently has no wagering timeframe limit, per the casino’s standard terms. The max cashout cap is $100. The downside is that you’ll have to make a verification deposit worth $11 in Litecoin to withdraw.
Vave Casino’s offer allows you to wager your bonus in 30 days and places no max cashout cap restrictions on your wagered winnings. The 40x rollover means that the bonus is above the 25x break-even line that I’ll discuss when talking about what wagering requirements mean.
Welcome Bonuses and First Deposit Offers
Welcome bonuses and first deposit promotions are the main way casinos market their platform outside of free deals. They allow you to maximize your initial payment made at a casino because the bonus grows with the size of that payment.
A first deposit bonus is specifically for the first payment after signing up, while a welcome offer can give you the option to land a match bonus for multiple deposits.
As such, you essentially have a selection of deposit bonuses that you can use only once, in succession, and within certain time limits. Each of them requires a deposit, has its rollover, cashout, along with the rules that apply across the package steps: bet value range, allowed games, and timeframe.
Some core traits that you must know about the welcome bonus include the following:
The structure of such a bonus gives you the match percentage up to a certain sum. If you get 100% up to 1,000 USDT, then you can get a maximum of 1,000 USDT in bonus funds. You can deposit more than that if the payment rules allow it, but 1,000 USDT is the maximum the casino will give you.
The size of your deposit dictates how much you get. If the bonus headline is ‘up to 1,000 USDT’, then you’d need to deposit a sum that qualifies you, so well above the minimum. A 100% match requires 1,000 USDT, while a 200% match requires 500 USDT. If you deposit, say, the minimum of 20 USDT, then that’s how much you get. That’s how the offer structure incentivizes large deposits via an accepted cryptocurrency.
Wagering requirements for such an offer may apply to either the bonus itself or the sum of the deposit and the bonus amount received. I’ll showcase the calculation in a later section where I discuss value.
Ongoing Rewards: Reloads and Cashback
Crypto casinos use reload bonuses and cashback deals to give you promotions that make it worthwhile to continue playing at that casino. Loyalty programs are also part of this initiative.
Let’s start with reload bonuses. As I established, they require a qualifying deposit, and they also tend to provide a match on it. The percentage tends to be smaller than with the welcome deal, partly because there is less pressure to maximize a single deposit, especially since there isn’t a need to attract new users to the casino.
You also need to consider cases when the reload bonus isn’t a match, but a series of slot spins. They may be marketed as free, but they’re dependent on a deposit, so they’re essentially bonus spins. For a casino, such a bonus would contain the bet amount and the game you play.
Cashback deals are simpler because they are a share of your losses that return to you as bonus funds. They basically provide a return of the house edge retained by the casino, paid as bonus funds that may have attached wagering.
Wagering for cashback can vary since it can be none at all (real money provided from the jump), 1x (you just need to roll the sum over once), or a full rollover.
No Deposit Bonuses at Crypto Casinos
A no deposit crypto casino bonus is a sum of bonus credits that you can only turn into withdrawable money if you clear any wagering requirements from the offer’s terms. You can withdraw up to a max cashout cap and nothing more. Bet size limitations apply, and the bonus expires after a timeframe.
Even if it’s not real money from the jump, the incentive’s denomination is in a real-life currency. For a crypto offer, it’s in a certain coin chosen by the casino, showcased in the promotion’s title. As such, the casino may offer you a crypto no deposit bonus in Bitcoin, USDT, SOL, Dogecoin, Litecoin, or other options. If it’s in the casino’s collection of accepted coins, it can provide it as a free bonus.
There’s also the case when the operator gives you the bonus in crypto, but worth a certain fiat amount. It’s the easiest with stablecoins. Giving you 20 USDT means giving you $20 worth of bonus funds. The same applies to other currencies.
It also ties into the value difference between fiat and crypto offers: the bonus you receive is at the valuation of the day you claim that offer. That’s why the amount of crypto you unlock by surviving the rollover can be worth more or less relative to the valuation at which you claimed the promotion.
The wagering requirement cost section later in this text will also tell you how to calculate the value of the bonus when set against the rollover.
Free Spins at Crypto Casinos
Crypto casino free spins do not require you to deposit; they give you the opportunity to play a slot with a pre-set number of rounds. You play the spins at the pre-set value imposed by the promotion’s terms. The casino will typically assign the slot that you can play with. Wagering applies, and unlocked winnings are provided in crypto.
The slot you can play depends on various factors that influence the casino’s choice. Some are reactivations of popular titles that drive up play volume, while others promote new games. Some crypto sites may have in-house titles or variations that they want to push, but in-house options tend to be dice or crash games rather than slots.
Based on the math of a typical slot with ~96% RTP (return to player, which is what you keep from your bets over the long run), a free spins bonus needs wagering below 25x to give you an expected value of more than 0. You can still get lucky above this line, but, on average, the bonus is gone before you finish.
You’ll find an in-depth exploration of this aspect in the content on the free spins page, which I also authored.
What the Wagering Requirement Really Costs
The wagering requirements incur an expected cost that you can calculate based on the house take that the casino retains over the course of your rollover process. The more you play through, the higher the cost, and the wagering multiplier dictates it.
In the following table, I used a deposit bonus whose structure is rather reminiscent of a welcome bonus.
| Bonus only | Bonus + deposit | |
|---|---|---|
| $200 deposit, 100% match | $200 bonus | $400 wagering base |
| 35x turnover | $7,000 | $14,000 |
| House take at 4% | $280 | $560 |
| Against the $200 bonus | −$80 | −$360 |
Takeaways From the Math
Let’s talk about what you see here:
I used fiat currency because it’s easier to use for this kind of calculation. Imagine that the figures from above are the valuation of BTC you used and received for this bonus, or that it’s USDT.
If the valuation of the cryptocurrency drops by 10%, then the amount that you deposited and received is not $200, but $180. The turnover (the volume you must bet) would basically be the same proportionally, but what would survive would be less valuable than what you received at first in bonus money.
The wagering requirements essentially double in this particular example once you apply the bonus + deposit rollover requirements, since the turnover required is also doubled. A bigger turnover means more house edge applies to the wagered sum, so that’s why the expected costs rise. Bonus-only wagering costs you the whole bonus amount plus $80 of your deposit. The deposit + bonus wagering structure would also cost $560 in total, so you’d lose both the deposited sum plus the bonus.
A similar thing happens if it’s a no deposit bonus. If the expected cost is higher than what you get in bonus funds, then it’s simply a statistical likelihood that none of the cryptocurrency that you get as a bonus will survive the wagering. I’ll refer you to the no deposit bonus page for the calculation on this front.
If the wagering were 25x at this house edge, then the turnover to clear would be $5,000. At 4% house edge, the expected cost is $200, so you’d neither lose nor win anything from the bonus amount. If the wagering is below this line, then you have chances of keeping some of your bonus in withdrawable crypto.
Responsible Play
As an additional note, I’d like to remind you that it’s very easy to lose yourself in the calculations and the opportunity presented by a bonus as a vehicle for excessive play.
Responsible gambling helps contain such effects. Remember that gambling is for those 18+ (or older, if your legislation requires a higher age), and to only play if you’re calm. Stop gambling if it isn’t fun anymore.
Since crypto deposits come with low friction, it’s easy to indulge in multiple payments and play too much. Set deposit and loss limiters right after registering, even if you do so to redeem an offer.
If you start developing issues with gambling, consider self-restricting or at least taking a break. Take into account the possibility of seeking help, and try contacting Gambling Therapy or Gamblers Anonymous if you need to take that step.
Bonus Availability by Country
You can claim crypto casino bonuses of any type, based on the operator’s rules, but also on your local legislation. SlotsCalendar shows you whether the casino accepts users from your country by adding a ✅ or a ❌ to the country flag shown in each offer’s widget. Legally playing at that casino depends on your country’s legislation.
Crypto gambling sites that hold a license usually have an offshore one (many hold none), so they accept users from places where they have no license, such as US states, where online casinos can only operate with a state license. If the casino accepts you, it doesn’t mean that playing there is legal.
Again, SlotsCalendar only shows what the crypto casino allows. SlotsCalendar does not specifically encourage playing at said casinos, and none of our guidance is legal advice. Check your local legislation on whether you can play at these platforms and redeem their crypto casino bonuses before you make a decision.
