Big Bite features a variety of mechanics in its base game, can you tell us more about these?
The frozen fun in Big Bite is played across 5×3 reels filled with Penguins, Walrus and Polar Bears which make up the biggest paying symbols. These thematic icons are joined by a wild which substitutes for all base game symbols making the formation of a win across 10 pay lines easier for players to achieve.
Fish symbols can also appear, each with a variety of instant cash prizes attached ranging from 1x to 1000x! Jackpots can be landed in the base game too, which climb as high as 10,000x creating huge win potential for players to sink their teeth into. Both the jackpots and the instant win prizes must however be collected before being rewarded, requiring an orca symbol to land on the fifth reel to do so. The ability to land these huge wins in the base game sets Big Bite apart from other titles and keeps the arctic fun present across all spins.
How will players be making waves in the bonus round?
Requiring at least three scatters to be landed in the base game, the free spins round within Big Bite upgrades the entertainment further by introducing a progressive meter for players to climb. Each orca symbol gained will be added to the progression ladder with four needed to award an increasing multiplier up to 10x whilst also granting an extra five free spins.
This multiplier is added to all subsequent instant win prizes collected, further increasing the win potential present. Additional spins also allow for the opportunity to land more traditional wins which is further enhanced by the paylines increasing to 20 and the reels expanding to become a 5×5 gameboard.
Your recent release Hearts Highway was the first title to have the Action Replay mechanic as part of its gameplay, will Big Bite have this feature?
Big Bite will boast our new Action Replay feature upon release as will all of our upcoming titles. This means that if you manage to land a big win, secure a jackpot prize or fill the incrementally increasing prize ladder to 10x you can relive the excitement at a later point or share the clip with others.
All our upcoming titles will have this option included on release and we are integrating the function into past hits such as Jammin’ Jars and Fat Rabbit in the future.
Wild Swarm 2 is your next release following Big Bite. Can you tell us more about this title?
With Wild Swarm 2, we wanted to build upon the core concept of the fan-favourite original and upgrade and modernise the gameplay of the sequel. This means that there are many elements fans of the original title will recognise and lots of new mechanics that will cause a buzz too. Sticky wilds return in the bonus round but have been enhanced in this release – creating a reel filled with sticky wilds will now award an additional multiplier boosting the excitement.
You have three releases in February alongside the launch of the Action Replay mechanic. Should we be expecting more releases than usual from you throughout 2024?
Our roadmap is fuller than ever before with numerous sequels, new slots and fresh mechanics launching throughout the year. We will be continuing this pace throughout March with Shamrock Saints and Samurai’s Katana releasing in March and we may have another bite at a fish sequel on the horizon too!
