Hello, my name is Toni Karapetrov, and I’m Head of Corporate Communications at Habanero.
Can you please describe your daily routine in the workplace?
First off, it’s a pleasure to start each workday alongside such a talented and hardworking group of professionals. We’re a tight-knit bunch, and although we take our jobs seriously, team Habanero is characterised by close friendships throughout the company.
On most days, we’ll devote several hours to the creative process – which is why our games stand out from the crowd. It takes hard work, and coffee is essential, but the result makes it all worthwhile in the end!
Please tell us a bit about the challenges a studio faces when creating a new slot game.
When it comes to the creative process, we start by sitting down and figuring out what we want to make and how to go about making it. We take pride in bringing fresh and exciting content to the market on a regular basis.
However, balancing that experimentation with the elements of our titles that are non-negotiable, such as world class graphics, can be tough. Ensuring every idea we have meets Habanero’s high standards is a challenge – but one that we relish nonetheless!
What game-mechanics do you like the most in an online slot machine?

We would love to hear more about the slot creation process. Can you let us know which is the most exciting part of the entire process when creating a new slot?
When it comes to the game development process, seeing an idea come to life is the best feeling of all. When you just know that the game will be enjoyed by a whole range of different players, nothing beats that realisation.
Thinking about all the different reasons why Habanero is a fantastic place to work, one stands out above the rest. We are given the broadest possible creative licence to come up with different ideas, and it’s always a pleasure to see the different strengths of our various team members. Combined with a rigorous testing process, that experimentation really shows up in the final product – because our games always boast peerless quality.
Any future releases our readers (players) should look forward to trying?
